Sumbawa Whale Shark Program Itinerary

1st Day : Arrival and Moyo Island and Waterfall

11.00 - Tour Leader / Tour Guide will pick you up at Sumbawa Besar Airport (SWQ) as meeting point.
11.30 - Head to the hotel to check in at the beginning or after the Moyo Island Tour, then head to the port
11.45 - Heading to Moyo Island by speedboat for 40 Minutes.
12.30 - Arrive Moyo Island at Labuhan Aji Village, opsional take lunch or after Waterfall Tour.
Embark to Scooter Taxi (Ojeg) soft riding adventure toward to the jungle for 20 minutes.
Arrive Parking area and continue soft trekking to waterfall, take swimming at natural River Pool (Blue pool, Torques Pool or Lady Queen Pool)
15.30 - Return to Labuhan Aji Village, Opsional take lunch, continue toward snorkeling point, Takat Sagele point & Raja Sua Point.
17.30 – After Snorking & swimming, continue back to main Island of Sumbawa, heading back to the Hotel for check in (free time).
Dinner Available at restaurant & Rest before Whaleshark tour on next day.

2nd Day : Whale Shark Sumbawa Saleh Bay

2.00 AM – Early pick-up from Samawa Seaside Resort and depart for Labu Jambu Village (approximately 2-hour drive).
4:00 AM – Arrive at Labu Jambu Harbour. Board the boat, get comfortable with pillows, blankets, and mattresses, and prepare for an exciting whale shark encounter.
5:30 AM – Reach the whale shark spotting location. Our crew will attract whale sharks by feeding them baby fish, keeping them near the surface for a closer view from the boat.
6:00 AM – Dive into the unforgettable experience of swimming, snorkeling, and diving with whale sharks. Witness these gentle giants up close in their natural habitat.
Light breakfast will be served on board, including bread, coffee, tea, and fresh fruit.
9:00 AM – Depart from the whale shark spots. (Departure time is flexible based on when you’re done swimming).
11:00 AM – Arrive back at Labu Jambu Harbour and continue your journey back to Samawa Seaside Resort.
12:00 PM – Optional stop for lunch at a floating seafood restaurant, featuring fresh local dishes.
14:30 PM – Return to your accomodation Samawa Seaside Resort, free time you can relax by the pool or enjoying the seaside views. Dinner Available at the resort’s restaurant or at a local venue in Central Sumbawa.

3rd Day : Farewell and Transfer Out

08.30 - 09.30 : After your breakfast, our teams come to Pick up at the Hotel and transfer out to Sumbawa Airport (SWQ). End of Service

Children 5 years old and under at the same time of tour are free of charge, all minors must be accompanied by parents/guardian, at all time.
Payment of a 40% deposit is required to secure a package reservation
Once you decide to book the trip please provide us with snorkeling / swimming fins size
The remaining payment can be transfer / cash on arrival day when you meet our guide
